Microsoft is trying to make it easier to get data sources or data targets defined and ready to utilize with SSIS packages. From Visual Studio, you can now create an Integration Services Connection project. A wizard takes you through defining the data sources and connections for an SSIS package. As you can see in Figure 52.44, this wizard allows you to jumpstart the data source/connection managers you might need for a new SSIS package.
