I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Request for a quota increase on GPU instances
The first step will be to request a quota increase on GPU instances. By default, the number of GPU instances you can have on your GCP account is 0. This limit is set by the quotas configuration for your account, and you need to request an increase. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open your Google Cloud Platform console at https://console.cloud.google.com/.
- On the left menu, click on IAM & Admin | Quotas, as shown in the following screenshot:
- Click on the Metrics filter and type in GPU to find the entry reading GPU (all regions), as shown in the following screenshot:
