I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tinder
The world's most popular application for meeting new people, Tinder deploys a number of learning models to increase the number of people liking a particular profile. The Smart Photos feature increases a user's probability to find a correct match. The feature randomly orders the pictures of a particular user and shows them to others. The algorithm supporting the feature analyzes the frequency of the pictures being swiped left or right. It uses the knowledge to reorder the pictures according to their popularity. The algorithm's accuracy has been constantly increasing with the collection of more and more data.
