Creating a project and GCP Compute Engine instance

In this section, you'll be creating a project on your GCP account. All resources in GCP are encapsulated under projects. Projects may or may not belong to an organization. An organization can have multiple projects under it, and a project may have multiple resources inside it. Let's begin by creating the project, as shown in the following steps:

1. In the top left of the screen, click on the Select a project drop-down menu.
2. In the dialog box that appears, click on New project in the top right of the dialog box.
