I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Launching the Ambari Dashboard and Zeppelin UI
The following are the steps required to launch Ambari and Zeppelin:
- Click on the Launch Dashboard button and log in as maria_dev to navigate to the Ambari dashboard:

- Clicking on Zeppelin UI under Quick Links takes us to the Zeppelin UI, as follows:

The Zeppelin UI runs on port 9995. For our Zeppelin Notebook to work with Spark 2 and Python 2.7, the Spark and Python interpreters need updating.
