Turning on the virtual machine and powering up the Sandbox

Let's take a look at the following steps:

Run the Oracle VirtualBox startup icon. The startup screen with a powered-off Sandbox appears as follows:

The startup screen displays the updated Hortonworks Sandbox virtual appliance with its updated configuration. For example, our Base Memory is now 10000 MB.

Next, right-click on the Sandbox and click Start | Normal Start:
