INTRODUCTION
This chapter deals with the transmission of high-quality audio by broadcasters prior to, or"upstream" of, actual broadcast—in other words, any point-to-point transmission of audio signals involved in the production of broadcast content.
This chapter does not cover transmission via voice-grade telephone service; for that, refer to Chapter 3.10.
