Once you have finished installing pfSense, you will need to configure the firewall via a web browser. The interface is uncluttered and logically laid out, and it works well with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. Once you reboot the computer, you can access it via a browser from a web interface (usually https://192.168.1.1/24) to start configuring the firewall. A complete copy of the pfSense default configuration is available on the pfSense website, but it is important to note the following default configuration items:
