I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Remote Desktop Protocol
Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft that provides a user with a graphical interface to another computer. The protocol is an extension of the ITU-T T.128 application-sharing protocol. Clients exist for most versions of Microsoft Windows, Windows Mobile, Linux, UNIX, Mac OS X, and other modern operating systems. By default, RDP uses Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) port 3389.
Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) is a built-in application that uses RDP.
