Image Menu
Preset Manager
The Preset Manager is where you access the Elements Preset Manager, a window
that helps you manage your brushes, swatches, gradients, and patterns. See page
476 for more on how the Preset Manager works.
Preferences
The Preferences menu gives you access to the many Elements settings you can cus-
tomize. The preference screens available from this menu are:
General (Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+K)
Saving Files
Display and Cursors
Transparency
Units and Rulers
Grid
Plug-ins and Scratch Disks
Memory and Image Cache
Type
Organize and Share (brings up the Organizer’s preferences)
Image Menu
The Image menu lets you make changes to your image. Here you can rotate a pic-
ture, change its shape, crop or resize it, or change the color mode.
Rotate
These commands let you change the orientation of your image. The first group of
choices applies to your whole image. The Rotate commands are explained in detail
on page 66. Your options are:
90˚ Left
90˚ Right
180˚
Custom
Flip Horizontal
Flip Vertical
