I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 6Cultivate a Test-Friendly Culture
We saved the best for last—the human aspect of introducing A/B testing as a step in product development. Technology is complex, but humans are far more complex. When building an engineering platform, what motivates, incentivizes, and drives individuals are often of little concern. But they should be top of mind when cultivating a culture that embraces experimentation. Motivating teams to use A/B testing to ensure changes are monitored for impact is contingent on your team’s culture.
