So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7 METADATA AND KEY BUSINESS DATA AREA DECOMPOSITION
This chapter introduces the concept of metadata, and the creation of data models. It looks at the use of data models within PDMv3. It illustrates the fallacy of the statement, ‘The underlying data structure cannot be altered.’
This chapter then discusses how to break a large programme down into small sections for effective control, and the use of metadata models to facilitate this.
