Within PDMv3, migration design and execution is made up of the following submodules:
- Migration end-to-end design (E2E design)
- Extract, transform and load design (ETL design)
- Detailed decommissioning design
- Migration build, test and execute
I will look at the role of each in turn, assessing the impact of technology options and the DMZ and show how all the artefacts created so far are brought together to create your ideal zero-defect data migration.
