It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
14 LEGACY DECOMMISSIONING
In this chapter I will look at how to carry out legacy decommissioning, the ‘long tail problem’, and how in project closedown to create products that are of value to the enterprise.
WATERFALL VS AGILE
At this point, the main project is completed and you are tidying up. Neither Waterfall nor Agile are relevant. Separate groups of staff will execute each activity determined by requirements, departments and skillsets. You, too, may have left the scene (I know I normally have), but you should make sure that these steps are someone’s responsibility, that they have been planned for and budgeted.
