As the editors, we thank all those contributors who helped with this project. That includes some appreciation expressed among us since this large group required much coordination, continuous follow-up and follow-through, and patient efforts.

As always, in a new edition of Practicing OD, we built it from what worked well in the prior editions, with returning contributors updating their chapters plus the new contributors. It is not so much an “edition” as it is “a new book.” Thank you to our contributing authors for their dedication over a long period to bring this work together.
