Organization Development (OD) and Change Management (CM) have undergone significant transformations over the last few decades. These changes reflect global shifts in management practices, the integration of technology and increasing complexity within organizational systems. Rooted in humanistic values and behavioral science, OD focuses on relationships, teamwork, and collaboration. While initially centered on interpersonal dynamics, OD has evolved to address organizational culture, strategy, and systems, adapting to modern complexities (Bushe and Nagaishi 2018). Globalization has expanded OD’s scope, emphasizing cross-cultural competencies for diverse, multinational contexts. However, OD’s western origins underscore the need for greater cultural inclusivity. This chapter uses bibliometric analysis (2010–2023) to trace OD’s shift from human relations to leadership and innovation. Using data from 836 documents from the Elsevier Scopus database, including peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and conference papers, the analysis highlights intersections between OD, CM, leadership, team dynamics, sustainability, and digital transformation.
