Construction and Layout

Abstract

Construction needs should be taken into account during site layout design. Ground conditions, any required lifting operations and temporary access roads, as well as safety and security issues need to be considered in detail by the layout designer. The chapter also considers the factors influencing whether modular construction may be beneficial.
