In this chapter, we’ve exposed you to the “mechanics” of developing the five basic SQL CLR entities and using them from T-SQL. You’ve seen how to take advantage of the SQL Server 2012/Visual Studio 2010 integration, as well as how to develop SQL CLR code in conventional Class Library assemblies and deploy them using T-SQL. You’ve also learned most of the SQL CLR .NET code attributes and their use in SQL Server Database Projects as well as in standard Class Library projects.
