It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing requisite packages
The first step is installing the requisite packages for the project. This includes the following packages: python3-pyaudio python3-numpy. They may be installed as follows:
sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install alsa-utils mplayer python3-numpy
