Loading Modules at Install Time

In some cases—most notably when either your hard drive or CD-ROM drive is connected to your computer via a SCSI controller—Fedora Core 4 cannot start the installer right away because either it isn't able to find your CD-ROM drive or it isn't able to find your hard drive. This situation occurs because none of the drivers in the installer's default driver list is able to communicate with your hardware. In this case, the installer asks about the nature of your hardware and then asks you to select a driver, as shown in Figures A.1 through A.3.
