Beginning the Installation

After the graphical installer starts, a welcome screen for the Fedora Core 4 installation process appears, as shown in Figure 2.1.

Screens in the default installer contain the following components or areas:

• When clicked, the Release Notes button displays a dialog box containing specific additional information about this release of Fedora Core 4.

• The Activity Panel is the area of the screen that you, the user, interact with as the installation process progresses.
