A brief autobiographical note
THIS BOOK STEMS from my own experiences as a design student years ago. On the whole, designers are avid collectors of inspiration, and few of my classmates’ desks or dorm rooms were free from a colorful jumble of books, paper samples, and miscellaneous printed ephemera (in fact, I found those who didn’t have any of this designer detritus lying around highly suspect.)
