When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cloud versus on-premise
The choice between using servers on the cloud and using them on-premise is a big decision, governed by the restrictions and needs of your business. For security reasons, some companies are restricted to use on-premise infrastructures, which is probably due to a misconception about how security is managed in the cloud. Regardless, this restriction invalidates any attempt to move the infrastructure to the cloud.
On the other hand, if you have the chance to choose between these two options, I encourage you to use the cloud. It offers many benefits, such as pay as you go, which will allow you to save a significant amount of money during the first releases of your application.
