So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Sockets
Sockets are a common protocol that became even more popular with the emergence of WebSockets, which establishes a full-duplex communication channel among the server and clients. A typical scenario wherein this protocol is used includes messenger applications, such as Slack.
