I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Event-carried state transfer
The event-carried state transfer pattern has a minor variation in comparison to the event-notification pattern discussed earlier. Here, the event contains very basic information related to the executed command. In this case, the event contains all of the information regarding the executed command that is used to avoid contacting the source application to perform further processing by the dependent systems.
This pattern brings the following benefits to the table:
- Improves application performance
- Reduces the load on the source application
- Increases the availability of the system
