I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
New trends
In the last few years, a lot of programming languages have been emerging to solve new business requirements, and many of these run on the JVM, which gives a significant advantage to Java developers, making embracing new programming languages less difficult.
It's not a coincidence that new emerging software architectures have been created. Business has expanded around the world, which makes it more challenging to scale old applications. This approach has forced us to rethink how to split business boundaries in order to deliver scalable services to solve business needs.
