I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This is a book I have been wanting to write for some time. Joseph Campbell is a hero of mine. One of my four sons is named Joseph in his honour. Without Campbell’s genius and inspiration this book would never have been written. I am also indebted to the many storytellers over the years who have kept Campbell’s legacy alive through their own work, be it in film or through other cultural work.
I am also deeply indebted to the many CEOs and leaders I have worked with over the years who have listened to me tell stories of heroes and journeys and who have been prepared to let me guide them on their own leader’s journey.
