Having coached exceptional people in business, politics, sport and education all over the world in the last 25 years, I can testify to the importance of a good map. Without a map that details the twelve steps and four phases of change, then change itself often fails. Looking back at when I’ve failed to help leaders, it’s often been because I forgot to check the map, or misread the map entirely.
