example, some phone companies don’t allow caller ID that doesn’t match

the trunk that it’s being used with.

Finally, the optional url parameter will be sent to the called party’s endpoint

upon connection, if the endpoint supports URLs (some IP phones support this).

DigitTimeout

DigitTimeout(seconds)

Sets the maximum time out, in seconds, allowed between dialed digits on the cur-

rent channel only.

Directory

Directory( )

Presents the user on the current channel with an IVR directory of voice mailboxes.

DISA

DISA,password|context

Gives the user direct inward system access capability, or the ability to obtain dial-

tone and the ability to originate calls from the current channel in the specified con-

text. User must enter a password using the dial-pad that matches the specified

password.

Echo

Echo( )

Immediately plays back the incoming audio signal back on the same channel it’s

coming from. Used to give testers an idea of how significant echo is on any given

connection. Users can exit to the next priority by pressing the pound key (

#).

EnumLookup

EnumLookup(extension)

Looks up the specified extension number in ENUM and returns the SIP or TEL URI
