SoftHangup

SoftHangup(channel)

Ends the call on the specified channel. To hang up the current channel, use Hangup( )

instead.

StopMonitor

StopMonitor( )

Stops monitoring a channel that is currently being monitored using Monitor( ).

StopPlaytones

StopPlaytones( )

Stops playing a tone list or a tone. Returns audio on the current channel to the call in

progress.

StripLSD

StripLSD(number)

Strips the least-significant digits—i.e., from the right of the current extension. The

number of digits to strip is specified by

number. So, if extension 5241900 stripped

down to 1900 at the first priority, processing would continue at the second priority

of extension 1900.

StripMSD

StripMSD(number)

Strips most significant digits—i.e., from the left of the current extension. The num-

ber of digits to strip is specified by

number. Continues processing at the next priority

in the new extension. So, if extension 5241900 stripped down to 524 at the first pri-

ority, processing would continue at the second priority of extension 524.

Executes a system command in a shell as the user that runs Asterisk. Can substitute
