Remote leadership capacity refers to building rapport with those not in your immediate environment. Remote leadership is an increasing challenge. Many people now perform their jobs from their homes. The global economy has driven many companies to expand internationally and create overseas units that are located several time zones away. The remote leadership reality will probably only get more intense, but it is not a totally new experience. Multiple office locations have been common-place for years.
