PLANNING FOR THE REHEARSALS

The planning, organization, and running of rehearsals are the responsibility of the director. Since directors rarely have more time than they need, it is essential to maximize every minute. Assuming a rehearsal period of five weeks with six rehearsals per week, if even two minutes are lost at each rehearsal, one hour total will be lost by the end of the process. Keeping in mind how easy it is to lose two minutes, it is crucial to be aware of time during the rehearsal process. Even if time is not an issue, making the best use of it is only fair to the actors.
