So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Deep learning is a subset of machine learning (which we discussed in Chapter 24) that involves building and training artificial neural networks with multiple layers of interconnected nodes. These networks are designed to simulate the human brain’s ability to recognize patterns and make decisions based on data inputs.1 Deep learning algorithms are able to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. They are used in a wide range of applications, including image and speech recognition, natural language processing (NLP), recommendation systems and autonomous vehicles.
