24.1. DHCP options
As described earlier, options are used to hold additional information. The format of DHCP options is depicted in Figure 24.2. The fields are described as follows:
Option code – the specific option type carried in this option.
Option length – the length, in octets, of the option data.
Option data – the data for the option.
