I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Use Live View to Focus
A lot of folks find the whole focusing process much easier with the Live View feature on their camera turned on (the one where you’re looking at the scene via the LCD on the back of your camera, rather than looking through your viewfinder). Now, if you want bonus points, if your camera has a full articulating swivel screen, it makes this whole night-shooting process so much easier. Think about it—your camera is tilted way up toward the sky, and to look either through your viewfinder or at your Live View on the LCD, you’ll need to squat down low behind your camera.
