You don’t need a big, epic lake to get great reflections—you only need a small pond or even a tiny puddle of water. The trick is to get your camera just a few inches above the puddle, so the reflection in the puddle becomes your entire foreground. This works better than you’d imagine, and you can get that mirror reflection right on the money.
