Too many business books put their ideas together in such a way that you have to read the entire book to see all the pieces and then you’re left to put the pieces together yourself. You’re given the pieces, but no unifying approach or revealing big picture view or summary example to know how everything fits together.
Many of those books have great ideas. But, I’m not a fan of either being made to wait until the end for the big reveal or of not having a comprehensive explanation for how to make everything work.
