Summary
At this point, you should have a solid understanding of the operation and implementation of Ethernet, Token Ring, and FDDI. You should also have a basic understanding of data signaling, encoding, fiber optic and copper-based transmission media, and LAN cabling components. Now, let's move on to WAN data link and transport protocols.
