It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Background Tasks
Background tasks enable an app to run custom code in response to certain system events or at timed intervals, even if it isn’t running. If you want to play audio in the background, a lot of support exists specifically for this. Therefore, we first look at background audio and then look at every other kind of background task. This support applies to both PCs and phones.
