When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Being a Contact Target
Apps that want to be listed in the contact card must specify actions that they can handle. Currently, these actions can be emailing, calling, video calling, sending a message, mapping an address, and posting to a social network. It turns out that you can be included for two of these actions by supporting the Protocol contract. If your app is a target for the Protocol contract for the mailto scheme, it is automatically included in the list of apps on the contact card that can send mail. And if your app is a target for the Protocol contract for the tel scheme, it is automatically included in the list of apps that can make a phone call. For all the other actions, you must declare yourself as a target for the Contact contract. ...
