I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Defining Links
WML contains two elements for navigation. These navigational elements are
Anchors— Provided by the ANCHOR element in WML. Anchors place links around text or images to enable users to select and navigate throughout a WAP application. Anchors were discussed in Chapter 4, “Text Formatting for WML.”
Events— Provided by the DO and ONEVENT elements in WML. These enable you to set navigational functionality to a WAP device’s user interface (such as the WAP device’s Option or Accept button). Chapter 4 introduced you briefly to the DO element.
Let’s look at a more in-depth explanation of both of these navigational methods and how to use them within a WAP application.
