I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Databases
Databases are similar to a powerful electronic filing cabinet. At their most basic level, databases enable users to add, modify, or delete information.
However, databases provide much more functionality than simply manipulating data. A database can allow authorized users to view specific information. Databases can also back up data automatically and on any type of time interval desired.
Perhaps the most advantageous aspect of databases is that they enable data changes to apply throughout all the areas of the system. Consider the scenario that takes place when you go to the doctor. You’re often required to fill out several forms, sometimes in triplicate. Many times, the information you’re filling out is the same for all three forms. ...
