So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How Do Timers Work?
In the development world, timers provide some type of functionality after their time intervals expire.
For example, a developer might use a timer in an application that updates stock prices every 15 minutes. The application works in that it keeps track of time for 15 minutes. After a time interval of 15 minutes expires, the functionality of updating stock prices occurs.
