I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What Is WMLScript?
WMLScript is a scripting language based on ECMAScript—also known as ECMA-262. ECMAScript was created by the European Computer Manufacturer’s Association and uses many of the elements of JavaScript 1.1. JavaScript is currently one of the most popular languages used in Internet technologies. Thus, by learning WMLScript, you’ll also begin familiarizing yourself with many of the elements of JavaScript as well.
If you’re familiar with JavaScript, you already know 90% of WMLScript. In fact, WMLScript is essentially a modified JavaScript whose purpose is to handle low-bandwidth communication and thin clients.
