I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Upgrading Zabbix
Even though Zabbix is a mature product with more than 15 years behind it, it's still very actively developed. Bugs are fixed and new features are added. At some point, accumulated improvements make it worth upgrading. In this section, we'll look at the following:
- General version policy: Which versions are stable and which ones are supported for longer periods of time
- The upgrade process: What can be upgraded to what and how it should be done
- Compatibility between Zabbix components: Which versions of the server can be used with which versions of the agent and so on
