It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Operational discipline and operational excellence, relatively new terms
in the current business environment, are deemed essential for high and
sustained business performance. In this book, the authors have articu-
lated the requirement for developing and sustaining an operational
excellence management system (OEMS) in any organization. The authors
include prior and current employees of both Beyond Petroleum (BP) and
Suncor Energy, Inc. We have used teachings from both of these organi-
zations to inuence the content of this book, which is therefore recog-
