When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Enabling wpa_supplicant in BoardConfig.mk
In the default emulator build, wpa_supplicant is not built. To enable building wpa_supplicant for the emulator, we can add the following lines in our BoardConfig.mk:
BOARD_WPA_SUPPLICANT_DRIVER := WIRED WPA_SUPPLICANT_VERSION := VER_0_8_X VER_2_1_DEVEL BOARD_WLAN_DEVICE := eth1
When BOARD_WPA_SUPPLICANT_DRIVER is defined, the following configuration in external/wpa_supplicant_8/wpa_supplicant/Android.mk will be changed to true:
ifneq ($(BOARD_WPA_SUPPLICANT_DRIVER),) CONFIG_DRIVER_$(BOARD_WPA_SUPPLICANT_DRIVER) := y endif
