So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Building AOSP Android emulator images
In this book, we will use x86-based emulators. The x86-based emulator can use virtualization technology on the host, so it is much faster than the ARM emulator. We want to build the one that comes with the AOSP source code first. To create an Android emulator build, we can execute the following commands from the AOSP top-level folder:
