The marked section of the clip is automatically selected.
7 Choose View > Play Selection or press the / (forward slash) key to watch
just the selected area. It’s always wise to check exactly what you’ve selected
before you add it to your program.
8 Drag the selected clip to the Project Browser in the upper left.
The clip is added to the project.
The Project Browser works very much like the Event Browser. You can skim or
play the clips, and there is a slider in the lower right to adjust the size of the
clips in the window.
