Later in this lesson you’ll see how you can move photos from one Event to

another, how you can merge Events, and how you can split one Event into two

or more Events.

You don’t have to use Events to organize your photos by date, though. You can

create Events in iPhoto to serve whatever organizational purpose you wish. For

example, if you take a bunch of photos while on a hike with your friends, you

can split those photos into several Events: one that contains photos of scenic

views, one that contains photos of your fellow hikers, and so on.
